THE PROBLEM
Not only since the Corona crisis, there is a great risk of vulnerability to today´s supply chains. Today's software tools to provide enhanced supply chain transparency are limited and the traditional approaches to achieve long-chain transparency take too long and / or are not integrated into ERP systems

There is no transparency along the supply chain today, little willingness to share Tier X data and risks are not possible to be identified.
Companies must be able to identify risks and possible violations of CSR laws throughout the Tier X supply chain to be able to prioritize risk mitigation actions
Continuous business interruptions in the unknown supply chain lead to loss of sales and credibility.

Tier X supppliers are not collaborating or are not able to collaborate in the chain and the lack of transparency leads to increased stocks and too high working capital throughout the chain.
Today´s supply chains are getting more more complex and final customer would like to get visibility into their set of subsuppliers. A Tier X supply chain of a simple ballpoint pen may illustrate the problem:
This chain shows the complexity of only the part of the chain for the procurement and production of the Inc cartridge of the ballpoint pen over 4 Tier suppliers:

DO YOU KNOW ANY PART OF THIS CHAIN OR ANY OF THE SUPPLIERS?
If not, do not hesitate to contact us
* BOM = Bill of material, ** Tier 0 is the final user, Tier ∞ is the supplier of the very first raw material, e.g. crude oil, meaning a lower Tier is a customer from a higher Tier, *** Patent pending
