Consultation

The challenge about bringing transpareny into Tier X supply chains  of larger organizations is very often created by the increasing complexity within the supply chain. This legacy is less of an issue in smaller and more agile organizations and very often these comapnies are able to react faster. Transparency MATTERS is changing this paradigm and delivers  a „speedboat“ approach to „tanker“ like organizations. Bringing in an external view into legacy organization will not only help applying a different approach, it also helps applying  best and most agile practices in supply chain resilience. The first part of our work is the identification of your sourced items with the hightest risks to your franchise. This can be very different from industry to industry due to the diversity of risk drivers. Relevant implications on potential revenue losses or long term damage of reputation are important factor, however, in regulated markets the long term assurance of supply is a key risk factor.A well well-proven risk segmentation process representing 15 + years of deep supply chain knowldge and experience identifies key risk drivers, records the nature of the material and its contingency options . The resulting risk panel based on the set of data provided creates an active risk prepardness map about your risk materials – the initial start of your material and supplier mitigation activities.

Risk Segementation

Combining the AI with the Tier X approach is done in a 3 manifold cascade:

 

  • AI monitors – at the start – ABC coded Tier 0 risks based on information on the supplier. We rate T0 suppliers into a ABC category (production stop, legal, financial, CSR, etc. – there are 60 monitorable elements available )

  • E.g. only for A (highest risk) rated suppliers we start to set up the Tier X information system by material  - the risk sits more in a material than in a supplier (due to the material itself and the Tier 1 chain supplying this material to the Tier 0)

  • We calculate effects on earnings, reputation, possible damage, etc.  you might cause in case of non delivery of your products to your customers caused by a non delivery of a sourced material item.

  • Out of this we define measures for these different materials at clients or their Tier x suppliers (stock increase of materials at client, stock increase of client´s final product, stock increase at the point tin the chain with the highest risk, new supplier qualification, etc.)

  • Monitoring of the Tier 1 – Tier X by the AI and by a to be defined client´s auditing monitoring system (Tier 0 are today managed by the client)

Digitalisation

Transparency MATTERS will allow you to safely store relevant information about your  specific Tier X chain in a comfortable, Blockchain based environment. We have developed a set of generic attributes that can be flexibly applied to the different industry risk patterns and thus, are of outmost importance for your individual supply chain resilience (e.g. safety stock information, sub supplier contract status information, subsupplier mono/dual sourcing ability, change control information, CRS relevant data, etc.).  Sharing information along the chain has been very challenging in the past. Transparency MATTERS motivates all participants in the chain independend from its Tier to share even critical information to benefit from increased transpaerncy and collaboration in the network.
